Hay Loft

Hay Loft first opened in early September 2008, having been converted from a hayloft and fruit store, although most recently, Denis Petro-Shepherd wrote his autobiography – ‘The Devil Take the Hindmost’ while sitting at his desk on the upper floor. A local architect, from North Walsham, drew up building plans that a local builder from Northrepps implemented included bringing the external staircase internally.

The property has been marketed and let by Cottages4you since it first became holiday accommodation. The property can be booked through Cottages4you (Property ref. no. 23894), although you can also book directly with the owner. The cottage is open all year, including Christmas and New Year.

The Hay Loft is popular and has been accredited with a “Gold Award” and latterly with “Customers Choice” The accreditation is based on guest feedback given directly to Cottages4you and can be viewed on their website.
